The Blood of Dawnwalker has surpassed one million units sold globally within just three days of its launch.
Rebel Wolves, a studio founded by veteran developers from The Witcher series, shared the milestone over the weekend on social media while expressing appreciation to the community for its ongoing support. Alongside its strong commercial start, the single-player RPG made an impressive showing on PC, reaching a peak of 70,692 concurrent players on Steam during its launch weekend.
The sales achievement comes alongside encouraging technical updates for console owners. Although the developer initially disclosed that PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms would not include 60fps performance options at release, team members reassessed their plans in response to player feedback. After completing an additional phase of internal testing, the studio confirmed that a day-one Performance Mode will be available for console players after all.
Critical reception for the game has been similarly positive. Reviewers praised the title for its willingness to take risks and innovate within the role-playing genre, awarding it high scores for successfully executing fresh gameplay concepts.
