Developer Rebel Wolves has outlined the global launch timings and system storage requirements for its upcoming dark fantasy action role-playing game, The Blood of Dawnwalker, ahead of its scheduled release on September 2, 2026.
As the opening major title in a competitive September gaming calendar, the game immerses players in an open-world setting based on 14th-century Europe. The narrative centers on Coen, a human-vampire hybrid operating as a Dawnwalker, who embarks on a dangerous quest to rescue his family and exact vengeance. Ahead of the launch, the studio reassured players by confirming that the game will support a 60 frames-per-second mode from day one.
Timing for the game's release varies significantly depending on whether players are buying on PC or console platforms. On PC, Rebel Wolves is executing a simultaneous worldwide launch set for midnight CEST (UTC +2, Warsaw time) on September 2. Due to time zone differences, this translates to an early unlock on September 1 at 3 PM PDT for North American West Coast players.
Meanwhile, console editions on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will roll out using a regional midnight launch strategy. Most major regions will gain access as local clocks strike midnight on September 2, which corresponds to 9 PM PDT on September 1 for West Coast console gamers. Addressing potential confusion for multi-time-zone regions, Rebel Wolves stated on X that countries like Australia and Indonesia will see the game unlock at midnight relative to their capital cities.
Pre-downloads for the title were scheduled to go live 48 hours prior to the official unlock times across Steam and console stores, giving players adequate time to install the required files before jumping into the adventure.
Download sizes vary depending on the chosen system. The PC build requires 48.8 GB of free space, while the PlayStation 5 edition takes up 50.505 GB. Xbox Series X|S players will need the most storage capacity, with listings on the official Xbox Store confirming an 80 GB installation requirement.
