A special edition of LOVE Magazine dedicated to Grand Theft Auto 6 sold out within minutes after preorders became available. The €25 collectible, which went on sale through KD Presse ahead of its October 5 release date, proved so popular that stock disappeared almost immediately.
The 27th issue of LOVE Magazine centers on Jason and Lucia, the two playable characters in Rockstar's upcoming crime sandbox. The publication includes previously unseen artwork depicting the pair, such as scenes of them together in a diner and playing pool. The magazine also features an extended interview with members of Rockstar's development team discussing how the studio crafted its dual-protagonist narrative and the world they inhabit.

Rockstar's writers explained their approach to building Jason and Lucia as characters. Lucia is motivated by the pursuit of a better life, while Jason tends to react to circumstances beyond his control. The team deliberately designed both characters to be flawed and vulnerable, capable of learning from one another. Game writer Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern described the goal as making them feel "vulnerable, tough, flawed, right sometimes, wrong sometimes," which she said created authenticity and made them function as an effective team. This dynamic carries through to gameplay, where players experience the map through the perspectives of two troubled individuals, adding depth to exploration.
The narrative team also discussed how GTA 6 reinterprets the American Dream for its protagonists. Rather than pursuing extreme wealth, Jason and Lucia's aspirations center on more modest goals: securing a home, supporting a family, and escaping debt. Senior vice president of narrative Rupert Humphries characterized the game's setting as a "pressure cooker for all kinds of insanity," suggesting a world where ordinary ambitions collide with chaotic circumstances.
The rapid sellout of the LOVE Magazine issue demonstrates strong collector interest in official GTA 6 merchandise tied to the game's central characters. The magazine will reach newsstands on October 5 at the €25 price point.
