A new sci-fi raising simulator and visual novel, Valkyrie Iteration: Mecha Pilot Raising Pocket Simulator, invites players to train a mecha pilot while carefully balancing her mental health and combat readiness.
In Valkyrie Iteration, players step into the role of a technomaster—a handler assigned to oversee a pilot named Lana and her sentient mech, dubbed a Valkyrie. Set in a distant future, humanity is under siege by Phantoms, hostile extra-dimensional beings that defy natural laws. To fight back, humans constructed powerful mechs infused with souls, though operating a Valkyrie places immense physical and psychological strain on its pilot.
Gameplay centers on managing Lana's daily routine to prepare her for upcoming combat missions. Players schedule her activities, choosing between intense training, relaxation, and personal dialogue. These decisions directly affect her combat proficiency, synchronization levels, fatigue, and psychological well-being, requiring careful oversight to prevent her from becoming overwhelmed by the mechanical power she commands.
Channeling thematic elements from classic mecha series like Neon Genesis Evangelion, the title offers a mixture of resource management and narrative progression. A playable demo for Valkyrie Iteration: Mecha Pilot Raising Pocket Simulator is currently available on Steam.
