Gaming database website Fextralife has deployed its largest update to date for its popular Elden Ring Wiki, executing 4,107 individual edits across 1,567 web pages to modernize the layout and improve accuracy.
The overhaul features a fresh visual skin and a redesigned homepage tailored to help users locate essential game details more quickly. Major hub pages serving as primary gateways to distinct topics—including weapons, spells, bosses, and expansion content—have been restructured. This new framework simplifies how players move through broad categories down into detailed statistical databases.
Character build strategy, historically one of the most intricate components of FromSoftware’s action RPG, received a substantial functional overhaul. Rather than listing dozens of builds together on a single massive page, the platform launched an “All Builds” master directory. This section links directly to more than 170 newly created individual build pages, detailing optimal pairings for weapons, attributes, talismans, combat skills, and spells.
Interactive exploration tools were similarly upgraded, with technical adjustments applied to the online Elden Ring map to boost general performance and map responsiveness. The interactive tool now includes a free map-marking utility, allowing visitors to place custom markers on their view of the map. This feature enables players to track unexplored regions, boss rematches, and personal landmarks during their journey.
In addition to site-wide navigation tweaks, the wiki content was updated to cover fresh details from the Elden Ring Tarnished Edition release. Editors also completed an extensive quality assurance pass across existing pages to standardize page formatting, clean up obsolete text, and verify empirical data, ensuring the reference resource remains reliable as the game continues to evolve.
First launched in February 2022 by developer FromSoftware and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment, Elden Ring has maintained an active community of players seeking detailed strategy guides. The wiki maintenance team noted that technical and editorial updates will remain ongoing as additional mechanics and secrets are uncovered.
