Epic Games has officially introduced classic video game star Crash Bandicoot into Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 as part of its ongoing Gaming Legends season. The special crossover made its in-game debut on August 28, 2026, giving players the opportunity to outfit their characters in gear inspired by the iconic platformer franchise.
The crossover release features several distinct cosmetic items in the Item Shop, headlined by the titular character himself. Fans can purchase the standalone Crash Bandicoot skin for 1,500 V-Bucks. Additionally, a special Sidekick cosmetic is available separately for 1,500 V-Bucks. For players wanting to collect all the available items at a discounted rate, Epic Games has made a full Crash Bandicoot bundle available for 3,000 V-Bucks.
To purchase any of the new crossover cosmetics, players simply need to open Fortnite and head over to the main Item Shop tab. Inside the shop layout, users should browse through the featured sections until reaching the "Crash Bandicoot & Spyro the Dragon" area. From there, selecting either the discounted bundle or an individual cosmetic item and holding down the confirm purchase button completes the transaction, instantly sending the items directly to the player's locker.
These themed cosmetics will not remain in the storefront permanently. Epic Games has set a firm expiration date for the collaboration, with all Crash Bandicoot items scheduled to rotate out of the shop on September 11, 2026, at 8:00 PM ET. This gives players a limited two-week window to decide on their purchases or redeem V-Bucks Cards to fund their store transactions before the Item Shop resets.
For players who decide to skip purchasing store skins directly, Chapter 7 Season 4 still offers plenty of content. Players can alternatively spend their virtual currency on the current Battle Pass to unlock various seasonal rewards. Additionally, fans can redeem Fortnite Lobby Hack (Admin Panel) Codes to claim extra promotional freebies while celebrating the Gaming Legends updates.
