Fortnite has officially announced a collaboration with American rapper Yeat, arriving in the Item Shop on October 15, 2026, at 8 PM ET alongside Fortnite Update 42.40. The reveal came through a new "Real Lyfe" trailer featuring the artist's track "If We Being Real." Yeat is known for hit songs including "If We Being Real" and "Money so big," both of which appear in the collaboration.
What's Included in the Bundle
The Yeat bundle brings a substantial collection of cosmetics to the Battle Royale. According to leaker ShiinaBR, the collaboration includes two skins, two backblings, one pickaxe, two emotes, one microphone accessory, one weapon wrap, and one kicks cosmetic. One of the skins features an Alternate Style, while the other comes with a Reactive Style. The "Real Lyfe" trailer showcased both outfits alongside the wrap and kicks cosmetics.
Three Jam Tracks accompany the collaboration: "If We Being Real," "Money so big," and "Get Busy." One Jam Track will be included in the main bundle, while the remaining two will release separately in the Item Shop. Epic Games has not yet revealed the official names of individual cosmetics, though the bundle is expected to cost between 2,600 and 3,000 V-Bucks based on typical Icon Skin pricing.
Surprise Announcement
The collaboration came as a surprise to the Fortnite community. Leakers had previously speculated that Yeat would become the next headliner for Fortnite Festival Season 15, replacing Lil Tecca. Instead, Epic chose to release him as an Icon Skin collab, bringing him directly to the main Battle Royale experience rather than the rhythm game mode.
Timing Within Fortnitemares
Yeat's arrival coincides with Fortnitemares 2026, an ongoing seasonal event featuring multiple horror-themed collaborations. The event already includes partnerships with Five Nights at Freddy's and Slenderman. Yeat follows Madison Beer's Fortnite debut last month, continuing Epic's pattern of celebrity crossovers. Based on the release schedule, Ken Carson is expected to headline Fortnite Festival Season 16.
