Blizzard has revealed a fresh batch of crossover cosmetics for Overwatch 2 as part of its ongoing partnership with K-Pop group Le Sserafim. The upcoming update, scheduled to launch on September 13, introduces six brand-new hero skins along with a series of in-game challenges and promotional events.
Official promotional artwork posted to the game’s official X account highlights the new character designs. This latest collection features new looks for Mizuki, Freya, D.Mon, Anran, Sierra, and Moira. The announcements have drawn widespread praise from the community for their creative styling, though Moira’s inclusion raised some eyebrows among fans due to her mature demographic compared to the younger roster involved in the crossover.
To celebrate the update, a promotional schedule will lead into the formal release. A brand-new music video featuring the K-Pop group is set to premiere on September 10. On September 13, the day the cosmetics officially go live for purchase, Blizzard will release a full gameplay trailer alongside a livestream showcasing the skins in active play. Additionally, Le Sserafim is scheduled to deliver a live performance during BlizzCon on the same date.
Beyond purchasing items directly from the in-game shop, players can earn a variety of free cosmetics, including extra skins and emotes, by completing limited-time event challenges. While enthusiasm is high, some community members expressed minor complaints that the previous crossover line—which featured Ashe, D.Va, Illari, Juno, and Mercy—did not receive a dedicated music video. Other fans noted that less featured heroes such as Venture continue to miss out on crossover cosmetics in favor of characters like D.Mon.
First launched in May 2016, the multiplayer first-person shooter has made cross-brand partnerships a core part of its live-service strategy, helping Blizzard maintain high engagement as a top studio under Xbox. The title remains available across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox platforms with full cross-play support. Given the massive commercial success of past crossovers, this latest music-themed drop is expected to perform strongly.
