Players of the Roblox game Steal an Egg can access exclusive egg modifications through the Sakura Incubator located in the Cherry Blossom biome. This specialized machine provides access to both the standard Bloom mutation and the highly elusive Spirit Bloom variant. To make full use of the feature, players must complete an unlocking process, gather required event resources, and understand the mechanics behind egg mutation chances.
Found at the far end of the Cherry Blossom zone—the game's final area—the Sakura Incubator remains unusable until activated. Unlocking it requires a character movement speed of at least 3.5 billion to efficiently steal eggs from the zone. Players must successfully hatch an Epic-tier Crane pet from these local eggs. Sacrificing any Crane from the inventory to the incubator permanently unlocks the machine, though doing so permanently removes the pet regardless of its size or stats.
Once the machine is active, players can participate in the Great Bloom Event, a recurring timed encounter that takes place every 30 minutes in the same biome. A server notification and an overhead timer on the incubator signal the start of each three-minute round. During this brief window, players must hit the cherry blossom trees throughout the area using a baseball bat to harvest Sakura Crystals, which serve as the energy fuel for egg mutation.
To apply a mutation, players must place an unhatched egg from their inventory into the Sakura Incubator and charge it with Sakura Crystals. Reaching a minimum charge level of 100 percent triggers the process, with players able to push the charge up to 150 percent to improve outcomes. Standard processing yields a 97.5 percent chance for the Bloom mutation, while the coveted Spirit Bloom mutation carries a much smaller 2.5 percent baseline probability. Players can also utilize Robux to enhance their odds for the rarer result.
Importantly, the Sakura Incubator only accepts unhatched eggs stored in a player's active inventory, meaning already hatched pets or eggs placed in pens cannot undergo the procedure. Because each Great Bloom Event lasts only three minutes, efficiency is critical. Players are advised to position themselves directly inside the Cherry Blossom zone before the timer expires so they can immediately begin collecting crystals and maximize their chances of obtaining rare mutations.
