The second season of the animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will officially debut on Netflix on October 20th, accompanied by a new trailer that explores themes of vengeance and redemption. The upcoming batch of episodes introduces a new cast of four main characters navigating the dangerous life of Night City. Based on the newly released footage, the narrative focuses on two primary duos whose stories intersect amidst intense action. One storyline involves Weak Kingsley, an experienced edgerunner adjusting to life without cyberware, who takes on the job of helping heavily augmented Talia Yang flee corporate control. Meanwhile, a nomad netrunner named D, who survived a fire that wiped out his clan, joins forces with Roman Carax, an aspiring filmmaker recording the city's stories. The trailer promises a blend of high-octane combat and emotional storytelling as the new lineup tries to survive the corporate underbelly of the Cyberpunk universe.
